What we’re looking for

  • A completed education in commercial vehicle technology

What your day looks like

  • 07:45

    Coffee first! Chat with some colleagues and then get to work!

  • 08:00

    The new build manager gives you your job for today, you grab your tablet with the work order, you clock in, and continue with the assembly work of a brand-new Volvo truck that will be delivered at the end of the day.

  • 08:15

    The customer wants a number of accessories on their new truck. You install extra lighting in the cabin, a flashing light on the roof, and a car kit. You work accurately and check in between if all wiring is properly connected.

  • 10:00

    Time for a cup of coffee. The canteen is quite full and everyone is chatting with each other.

  • 10:15

    You continue with customizing the truck based on specific customer requirements. This can range from placing brackets to modifying the chassis. You work with precision and carefully check if everything is perfectly mounted.

  • 12:15

    During the friendly lunch, the conversation turns to the next staff party. Most colleagues have been working here for years and they have the best stories about parties from the past. You are very curious!

  • 13:00

    After lunch, you test the lighting, the mounted accessories, and perform a general safety check. During this, you note points of attention and ensure that the truck meets the customer's requirements.

  • 15:00

    It's a clear day with plenty of sun. You can enjoy a cup of coffee outside on the terrace!

  • 15:15

    You take a moment to complete your administrative tasks. You register the performed tasks, the materials used, and the hours worked in the system, so everything is well-documented for the final inspection and invoicing.

  • 15:30

    You make sure the truck is ready for delivery. Then you tidy up your workplace, put the tools back in the right place, and ensure everything is ready for the next workday.

  • 17:15

    The day is done! You look back with satisfaction on a productive day in which you contributed to the perfect delivery of a new truck. Tomorrow, a new challenge!
