What your day looks like

  • 06:45

You start the day with a cup of coffee and a chat with colleagues. Then you get to work in the workshop. Today, a stunning Jaguar E-Type is on the lift, ready for a major service.

  • 07:00

You perform a technical inspection and start the maintenance work. You check the engine, brakes, and suspension, among other things. Because it’s a well-maintained example, everything goes smoothly, and the car is ready to shine again before the break.

  • 09:00

Time for a coffee break! In the canteen, there’s laughter over old stories and talk about which classic is coming in next.

  • 09:15

Back in the workshop, you tackle a Jaguar with an electronic issue. You trace the fault, replace a sensor, and take it for a test drive. The car is running like a dream again.

  • 11:30

Lunchtime! The conversation turns to the upcoming staff outing. The atmosphere is great, and you hear enthusiastic stories from colleagues who have worked here for years.

  • 12:00

After lunch, a Jaguar XJ comes in with minor front-end damage. You prepare a damage estimate, consult with the customer, and carry out a temporary repair to keep the car drivable.

  • 14:00

Short afternoon break. You chat with a colleague about the Van Dijk Vitality Program—you make a mental note to sign up this week.

  • 14:15

The last job of the day: you weld a small crack in the exhaust of a classic Jaguar and call a customer to go over tomorrow's schedule. Just a quick check to see if all the parts have arrived.

  • 16:15

The workday is over. You tidy up your workspace and take one last look at the Jaguars in the workshop—back to those beautiful machines tomorrow!
